People living in the USA or another BIG, tax coordinated country, don't realize the problems we face getting paid internationally in smaller countries.  Most online payment sites (such as PayPal) only payout to the 34 major countries.  Sint Maarten is not one of them.

Big countries are doing everything possible to tax online sales, and payment systems are under a lot of pressure to collect USA/EU tax details once users reach taxable limits. COVID 19 increased our need for international sales to a level that puts us close to, or over, limits that most online payment systems impose.
