Guavaberry liqueur has been made in St Maarten for centuries and is a treasured part of local culture. Today it continues to be made in this quaint gingerbread building which is the world headquarters of the Guavaberry Company. The retail shop there is run by artisans Claudine Ruan & Deita Mullen. They offer visitors samples of the liqueur, delicious guavaberry coladas and an assortment of one-of-a-kind handmade rum products such as fine Liqueurs made with local fruits, jams, jellies, sauces, and guavaberry juice blended with honey. Many products come in customized bottles that they have hand painted. For more info...
