When Rosemont Productions first asked me to design the make-ups for Columbia TV's THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME someone warned me against working with Anthony Hopkins. They told me he was a nightmare..... changeable, difficult and very temprimental. Fortunately, I ignored the warning and discovered him to be nicest, fairest and most appreciative movie star that it was ever my pleasure to work with.

The make-up took two and a half hours, (4 hours with hairdressing and wardrobe) and he was as patient and cooperative as anyone could hope for. He was a champion for the crew when the need arose and even sang my praises on National TV. It has provided me with great pleasure to see his reputation grow over the years culminating in him recieving a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II.
