Adrian Dunbar trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has worked extensively as an actor in film, theatre and television ever since.

His film work includes the award-winning My Left Foot directed by Jim Sheridan and The Crying Game written and directed by Neil Jordan. Additional credits include: Hear My Song co-written withand directed by Peter Chelsom, Widow's Peak directed by John Irvin, Innocent Lies directed by Patrick de Wolf, The Near Room directed by David Hayman, and Richard III directed by Richard Loncraine.

Dunbar has just finished playing Charley Johnson in Lady in the Dark at the Royal National Theatre. Other theatre credits include: The Tower at the Almeida Theatre, King Lear, Ourselves Alone, Pope's Wedding, Saved and Up To The Sun and Down To The Centre at the Royal Court, Pentecost at The Tricycle, and By The Border at the National Theatre Studio. He was also in Ghosts at the Young Vic, Real Dreams and Danton Affair for the RSC, Who's A Lucky Boy at Manchester Royal Exchange and Copperhead at the Bush Theatre.

Dunbar's television credits include: Melissa, The Beast in Man, Pleasure, Woman's Guide to Adultery, Cracker, Statement of Affairs, Force of Duty, The Englishman's Wife, Centrepoint, Dealers and Children Of The North, amongst many others.
