During the course of Nick's distinguished career there
have been numerous magazine and newspaper articles about his film and
art work. Many of the movie industry's most esteemed publications
produced feature interviews with him, almost every guide to the
Caribbean talks about him & his galleries and his art is also
included in several esteemed museum catalogues.
JUNE 1985 - AMERICAN CINEMATOGRAPHER *Front Cover* Nick was very proud to have his work grace the front cover of this prestigious magazine. "Nick Maley's robot sits up and everyone takes notice." The robot they refer to was not of the R2D2 type. It was one of four life-size animatronic figures built in just 8 weeks for the pathology transformation in LIFEFORCE.
AUG. 1985 - FANGORIA #47 magazine - "...he has now firmly established himself in the upper echelons of the film industry...." "As anyone who sees LIFEFORCE can testify, Nick Maley's work is quite an accomplishment. But having achieved so much in one movie, the question we have to ask is where does he go from here?" (Answer............. the Caribbean!)

But without a doubt the most precious document in Nick's collection of tributes is a book of stills given to him as a token of appreciation upon completion of STAR WARS Episode IV. An inscription in the back reads "Nick Maley - Thank you for your contribution to Star Wars" and is signed "George Lucas" and "Gary Kurtz".
