Only 15 minutes from V.C. Bird International Airport, Sandals Antigua is set on spectacular Dickenson Bay, a beautiful beach on the lee of the island where the sea is usually quite calm. There is more to do there than most beaches in Antigua. Because of their extensive TV ads Sandals is probably Antigua's best known hotel. They are NOT as expensive as Curtain Bluff, Jumby Bay, and possibly Blue Waters, but without doubt their SUPER all in deals put the hotel in a class of it's own. Many activities other "all in" hotels consider extras are free at Sandals.

They offer 191 Newly Refurbished Rooms and Suites in 8 categories. All rooms including: air Conditioning, king-size bed, ceiling fan, amenity kit, hair dryer, telephone, private bath and shower, safe, clock radio, satellite TV and coffee maker. Special equipment for disabled guests available. The rondavals are compact but really cozy and intimate. The best views are the oceanside suites. You might consider starting at the Rondaval and upgrading after a few days. Sandals is quite condusive to such ideas.

• Island Arts @ Hodges Bay is only 2 miles away. Your tour desk can make an appointment during the week or provide tickets for the UNIQUE Star Wars gatherings with Antigua's YodaGuy who contributed to the creatures of the classic trilogy. This is a MUST for Star Wars fans.
• Shopping trips to St. John's (see HeritageQuay.com and RedcliffeQuay.com)
• Golf (the course is about 2 miles away)
• Rental cars

In all the years I have spoken to their guests I have only heard one complaint.... someone who thought they were "too well organized"!

Just wanted to let the Sandals bound people know we just came back from our weddingmoon and had a wonderful awesome time!!! We had a ball and are very happy we picked such a unique beautiful setting to be married at. As any vacation its all in what you make it and being able to go with the flow.
