Blue Waters Hotel reopened in Nov 98 better than ever!. The hotel was trashed by hurricane Luis in 96 and the owners considered selling the property as it was. After further consideration they decided to rebuild and on the first of November 98 their stylish new hotel opened and hasn't looked back since. There is no question of a "quick fix-up". The hotel is completely redesigned and refurbished to HIGH standards. It is quiet, stylish and luxurious.

The new decor is SO picturesque. They spent about US$6M on the rebuild and it shows. Particularly nice are the numerous "portals" throughout the complex.... doorways and windows overlooking serene terraces and ocean views. The beach is not big but it isn't shared with any other hotels so it's very exclusive. Tourists staying there have been VERY complementary. I have done a number of images of the hotel that may be of interest if you are staying there.

My wife and I went to the Blue Waters hotel in May this year and had a great time, the staff there were always polite and very attentive to our needs, the accomodation was clean and comfortable with great views of the caribbean.

the capital city St. Johns are nearby and can easily be arranged.

 

At the end of the day at Blue Waters, our guests usually take the time to sit back and enjoy the sunset from their room, or

one of our bars. In the evening there is then the choice of dining in the comfort of our outdoor Palm Restaurant, or treating

yourself to the a la carte food in Vyvien's. Live entertainment in the hotel then provides the perfect way to round off a

typical day in paradise.
